Life
I am living in Henderson, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas, with my two children, ages 12 and 10. My husband passed away in 1998, so I am doing the single mom thing. I own a Travel Agency, so we get to travel a lot to some really great places.
04/07/06 UPDATE - Still in Henderson, but kids are now 16 and 13 - what "fun"ages! I am also engaged but no date has been set for wedding. I went through a scare a couple of years ago - was diagnosed with Stage III Metastic Melanoma in the lymph node...Expand for more
s in my neck. Two surgeries and a year of "chemo" later, I am happy to say that I am a cancer SURVIVOR. I closed up the travel agency as it was too difficult to maintain while undergoing all the treatments, so now I'm just a stay-at-home mom.
05/16/08 UPDATE - Nothing much new. Still cancer-free, going on 6 years this July. Kids are now 18 and 15 - even more fun! LOL! Still engaged with no date set, but things are good for now. Thinking of going back to school for Human Resources. We'll see.
