Claire's Story
Life
I live in Montgomery, Texas. My daughter, Alison, lives nearby on Lake Conroe. I retired from the Santa Fe Railway in Houston MANY years ago. Have enjoyed our reunions in Temple, and am sorry I missed the last one. Would like to see us have another one that can last a couple of days so we can really have time to visit old friends.
My college hours total a big 9. Not too late to acquire some more, huh?
I married one of those football boys from up in the panhandle. Remember...Expand for more
that team from there that beat us for the national championship in 41, or was it 42? Coach Cranfil did us proud!
College
Only thing unique about my few college hours is the fact that my husband, Al Hale, a SMU graduate, insisted one of us had to attend HCC summer school with our daughter, an Aggie, who needed American History and Calculus. Her immediate choice was ME! I had a few college students helping me to learn how to take the Scantron test! The years do pass, don't they!
