Clara's Story

Life I left Clarkston in 1971. Town was growing so fast and I figured 'may as well live in a real city'. Moved to San Diego. Brother was there in the Seals so I lived with him and his wife Judy for a while then they moved back to Michigan. I married in 1980 and divorced in 2000 with 2 teenage boys. Waited 'til the boys were 18 and 20, then moved to Phoenix. Boys decided not to make the move and are still in San Diego. I have been working occasionally, (temp Escrow Officer/Assistant) mostly travel with my new guy. We have traveled all over the US and the world. I just bought a 2006 Harley and love to ride. We recently rode to Palisades Colorado via Monument Valley, Moab, and many, many beautiful locations. How have you been???!!! UPDATE!!! 2009---Lost job in escrow because of the housing crisis!!! ot of time off to travel. Still travel alot. Have been to Peru, Costa Rica(twice), Bonaire (three times.), China, Tibet, and all over the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. Jim (my youngest) moved here to Arizona near me and I just bought a repo house for him to live in and renovate. Hope to make some money on it in a couple of years. My older son still lives in San Diego and has a great job with Intuit. The youngest manager ever in his department. Belong to Arizona ATV Club and go camping and riding quite often. Have alot of fun on the campouts - last weekend I won the spit-ball contest during 'redneck weekend'. Last year won the womens obsticle course and came in 2nd in the womens water obsticle course at a jamboree in Elko NV. Life has been wonderful, a few hiccups now and then. Would love to see old (?) classmates again. Hope there is enough interest in our class to have a reunion this year. Hard to believe it has been 40 years!!!
