Clark's Story
Life
I enjoy Shaolin kung fu, hiking, Toastmasters (public speaking), reading, and hope to resume studying piano and perhaps add guitar and drums to that as well.

nhancement. Mr. Covey played a significant role in propelling CMS's student body from 225 in 1993 to over 1,000 in 1998.Â
Mr. Covey began his management career at the age of 20 with Eckerd Drugs in Houston, Texas. He developed a unique ability as a trouble shooter and was assigned to 16 different locations in less than five years, improving certain functions of each store to which he was assigned. Upon leaving Eckerd Drugs in 1983, Clark joined the United States Marine Corps where his definitive leadership style was quickly identified. With two meritorious promotions, recommendation for Marine of the Quarter and recipient of the coveted Navy Achievement Medal, he was frequently sought out by different units and inspectors to lend his expertise. Sgt. Covey was honorably discharged in 1990.Â
While serving in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Covey designed and wrote an inventory software program for the supply section saving the government over 10,000 man hours annually. He continues to develop software for other companies on a part-time basis.Â
