Clarke McGriff:  

Life Chaplain Clarke L. McGriff is a native of Winston-Salem, N.C. He is the third of four children born to Walter and Mary McGriff. He was born again, into the family of God in 1976. His primary and secondary education was completed in Winston-Salem, graduating from East Forsyth Senior High School in May 1973. Entering North Carolina A & T State University in August 1973, he completed prescribed courses of study and received the B.A. degree (Cum Laude) in Political Science in May 1977. That same year, being designated a Distinguished Military Graduate, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army's Ordinance Corps. In February 1978 Chaplain McGriff entered Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Mill Valley, California and received the Master of Divinity degree from that institution in December 1980.
