Claude's Story
Afer high school I went into the army. Spent a tour in Vietnam and had knees shotup.
Knocked around for a few years and settled in lower Alabama working in a tire manufacturing plant. I was a mechanical mechanic and troubleshooter for a few years and spent the last 25 of my 30 year career in management.
I had to finally have both knees replaced and retired from Michelin manufacturing in 2009.
I got bored and obtained CDL and drove for another 18 months over the road. by this time agent orange complications caught-up with me and I had to quit.
Now I spend my time as one of the directors and treasurer of our small country church. Another retired gentleman and myself ...Expand for more
maintain our church from grass cuttiong to building maintance. i also teach (now if that isn't a 1000 miles away from where I was at in 1966) at one wed night service a month and assist our associate pastor with his Nursing and Rehab Center ministry.
My passions are working for Christ, my family, and riding motorcycles. I hope I dont have to ever have to go to a three wheeler. I've rode so many of my friends for having "training wheels" (haha).
Now that I have started dealing with PTSD issues I have started reconnecting with old friends and in many cases made apoligies and asked forgiveness.
To all that read this I pray that everyday will be blessed for you,
Claude
