Claudia's Story
Life
Living in Arcata CA (near Humboldt State University) since 1977. Retired in 2004 from County of Humboldt. Was Office Manager for Assessor's Office for 27 years. Enjoying retirement and goofing off. Husband David retired in 2006. Daughter Jodie is office manager for a small used car dealership in Eureka. Grandson Tim is 23, works for a local party supply business. Kev also has coffee/tea bar next door. They have two children, Jack 6 1/2 and Evie 3 going on 35. Stepson Andrew Staff Sgt in Army, currently in Kuwait. Will retire next year. Am involved with local DAR chapter, Native Daughters of the Golden West, every church committee that exists, playing bridge, keeping in touch with friends from work, make lap robes for a volunteer group (lots of sewing, buying supplies, etc), genealogy (goes way back!!)
