Clay's Story

Linda (EBHS '73) and I have been married 32 years, in a row. We have two children, Laura Lee, 20, who is in college and Andy 23, who is a US Marine. After EBHS eventually graduated from Hillsboro Community College and then USF. In 1981 Linda and I moved to Wake Forest, NC where I earned my master's degree from Southeastern Baptist seminary in 1984. I continued to study and finally earned the doctorate in 1991 from Drew University Seminary, Madison, NJ. Linda and I have been blessed to travel the world over doing m...Expand for more
edical, dental, and construction mission trips. We have been to: Kenya, Romania, Cambodia, Venezuela, Russia, and Canada. We have also been numerous places domestically. We have been serving churches for 25 years. Currently I am the pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in St. George, SC, near Charleston. In 2008 I hope to begin an internship as a licensed professional counselor and with that licensure I hope to open a local pastoral counseling center. So, there you have it. We are having fun and living large in SC !!!
