Brenda's Story
Life
I am a person of many interests. After high school, I went to Schoolcraft College for Liberal Arts, because, unfortunately, I did not know what I wanted to do with my life. I joined the drama club, and played Anne in "A Doll's House". There I met the man who would become my husband. Married for 41 years to the same person, I have two beautiful daughters. The eldest is an RN. The youngest is a sophomore at U of M Ann Arbor. Both are very bright, and I hope more ambitious than I. I still enjoy singing, and spent several years with the Novi Choralaires, as well as singing in church. Reading is still one of my favorite pastimes, though other things have cut back on the time I have to spend. I worked for the same company for 31 years, and look forward to startin...Expand for more
g a new career after this one. I live in a house on a lake in Brighton, Mi. We are in chaos at this time, doing major remodeling on the house. I do not see anyone from school, and haven't since reunion 10. Can you believe how quickly the years have gone by? My high school years were just a blur as I adjusted to new medications for the migraines I used to get regularly. I always felt alone, and half out of everything going on around me. How many friendships and opportunities did I miss because of my terrible shyness and sense of inferiority? If only I could go back and relive parts of my life - knowing what I know now, of course. Things would be a little different. I would welcome any contacts with my old friends and acquaintances. Life is too short for regrets.
