Clifford's Story
3 days after graduation I joined the Air Force and spent 4 years in Europe. Returned to Fairbanks where I worked for the Fairbanks Fire Dept for 22 years. After retirement I spent 3 years delivering newspapers for the Daily News Miner while waiting for my wife, Lillian Dimmitt to retire from the school district. We left Fairbanks on Jan 7th 2007 at -55 degrees and drove to Montana. We had bought a home in the Bitterroot Valley just north of Stevensville (25 miles south of Missoula). For several years I spent weekends skydiving at the Hamiton Airport in the Bitterroot between the Bitterroot Mountains and the Sapphire Mountains. ian for a satellite company, Gone back to school at the Univ. Montana in Missoula for a degree in Alternative Energy Technology, Worked at the Dunrovin Ranch in Lolo as a wrangler and guide in the Bitterroot Mountains. Drove Heavy haul flatbed truck for a company out of Spokane throughout the North West States. For 6 year I drove for Fedex Ground delivery from Lolo Mt just south of Missoula to the Idaho border south of Hamilton Mt. I have finally fully retired and am living comfortably with Lillian at our home just north of Stevensville Mt off the East Side Highway. Life is good and I still have my health.
