Clifton's Story

Clifton's schools include McCollum High School. Clifton later attended Park University (Management/Computer Information Systems) . I joined the Air Force shortly after graduation and spent 20 year in, with most of that time in the computer fields. After that spent another ten years as a contractor then civil service as an Oracle database software developer and database administrator. I was forced into retirement in late 2015 after a wreck on labor day left me disabled. Unfortunately I lost my loving wife of just short of 19 years in that ...Expand for more
same wreck so I'd trade places with her in a heartbeat. Now I find myself raising my 16 year old daughter myself with much help from my in-laws. After raising three boys that are all now in there 30's from a previous marriage I found raising a girl through her teens a different type of challenge. So now I'm just an old handicapped guy, at least feel that way, attempting to raise a daughter that's ready for the real world whenever she heads off to college. My kids and grandson are what keep going nowadays and I'm proud of each one of them.

Got a heart monitor put on yesterday that's supposed to be on for two weeks, and it didn't even stay on through 3/4 of a golf round today. Figured I'd give this a try since their stuff couldn't seem to stick a fly to a fly
