Clifton's Story
After graduating from Kinston, NC High School in 1978, I decided on that a life of public service was the only endeavor that would provide meaning to my life, which is why I joined the United States Armed Forces. I enlisted into the United States Army in 1978 and completed Basic Training in Fort Knox, KY and then I completed an Advance Individual Training at Fort Lee, VA as a Unit Supply Specialist. As a First Sergeant, I has served in various assignments throughout the Continental United States, to include (CUT) being stationed at Fort Dixie, New Jersey; Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Fort Benning, Georgia; and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Additionally, I served in overseas assignments in Bad Toelz, Germany; Berlin, Germany, the Republic of Korea and Operation Iraq Freedom, Iraq. n October 1, 2004, after twenty-six years of dedicate service to the U.S. and the U.S. Army, I wanted to continue my life of public service in a new career and decided to start pursing again my bachelorâs degree that I had started while in the military. My calling started after a true commitment to Christ. I remember that day just as it were yesterday, living a life of fantasy and sin. But God, enter into my life and change all that. I love spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nothing is more important to me, than telling a dying world that Jesus die for you and me. What a joy is it to see no-believer accept Jesus as thier Lord and Savior. The bible tells us in 1 Timothy 3 that we need to be train for the jobs God has in store for him and of good report. I received my BA from American Baptist College Nashville TN and
I hope to continue my college education and masters in theology.
