Edie's Story
I am a proud graduate of Class of '69 Kennedy High School and Regis University. Right after graduation, I moved to North Dakota for five years where I began what became a 42 year career in the telecom industry focusing on public policy and public affairs. I lived in Boise ID for 4 years, then moved to Denver area where I live today. I married Jim Ortega (a Colorado native) in 1984. We blended families, and have 5 adult children ...Expand for more

Jim and I enjoy traveling and playing golf. We love our Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, and Denver Broncos.
I sing bass with a women's barbershop chorus and enjoy many different kinds of music, including country, Jazz, I also enjoy volunteer work, and currently serve on the Foothills United Way Board of Directors. I'm active in my church and most of all love being a grandma!!.
