Cody's Story
I moved away from Lubbock in 2002. I lived on South Padre Island for 5 1/2 years. Moved off the island to get away from the spring breakers and other types of tourists. My family and I now live in Laguna Vista, which is only 10 miles from the island, so we can still go to the beach, surf, fish, and hang out.

s 28 days on and 14 off so I am away from my family quite a bit but when I get off its 14 days of uninterrupted time with them.
I have 2 boys, 14yrs. and 1yr. My girlfriend, Jenn, is fantastic. She's a stay at home mom til the little one starts school. Jenn is a native hispanic born and raised here so I get the best of both worlds(and the best food). We like going across the border and hanging out in Mexico. However we only go when the Cartels aren't shooting at the Policia or eachother. Sometimes it gets crazy over there.
