Brenda's Story
Life
Apparently I have gotten a lot of traffic since writing this bio nearly 20 years ago. A lot has changed...so sorry I didn't update years ago! Been a long time since I visited Classmates.com. I'll try to answer all the comments no matter how old. Sorry again!
I graduated from Harrison High School in 1972. I spent 14-1/2 years in the Air Force being sent to Texas, California, Arizona, Indiana, Greenland, Washington, Korea, Germany, Turkey and Ohio. I was able to see so much more of the world as a result: Nova Scotia, Denmark, Norway, France, Austria, Spain, Azores, Italy, Ireland, England, Morroco, Greece, the Netherlands, Czechoslavakia and more.
I'm a former award winning broadcast journalist for both the military and civilian outlets. I've also work...Expand for more
ed for the USOC, and the Veterans Administration. I'm now a disabled vet who manages to keep her hand in serving the community.
Unfortunately, the Harrison Community Education Fund ended in 2004. I moved from Colorado Springs to San Antonio, TX after meeting the love of my life online. Neither of us was even looking for a date, much less a match. He was in the Army in Alabama, I was in the Springs. Our first conversation was about how marriage sucked and we would NEVER do it again. After living together for a year we married and celebrated our 16th anniversary last summer.
We now live in Virginia after living ten years in San Antonio. He retired and works for the government. Between us we have two adult sons, one adult daughter, and three grandsons.
