Life Well, well, well. What to say to people that are 20 some years removed? How have you been?......hmmm....no. What have you been doing with yourself?.....hmmm..no. So how's the 1.Wife? 2.Kids? 3.Job? 4.Divorce? 5.Sex change? How about...Did you ever think that high school would be that important to your socio-economic or character development?. Naw, that's a little tainted. And maybe bitter. Then again, it is only upon sombre reflection of life that one can really put in perspective the moments in time that shaped and moulded that which in it's totality of existence and experience is "I" ..er..me?...uhhh?...us? I offer this... Live not for tomorrow with trepidation. Live for tomorrow with expectation. cph2004 Do all that you can to the best of your ability in the circumstance and should that not be enough, then my friends, sometimes you just have to say F*#$ it and carry on. In all seriousness, classmates come and go and as can only happen in the surroundings of learning and education, a unique bond emerges. When minds open up to ideas and, if we listen, we all come to know not just the projected personality of a person but the thoughts and ideas from a much deeper, more intimate place than most of us would dare to admit. I sometimes wonder if the difficulties some had in learning and social interaction were magnified by the lack of guidance, instruction and an environment created to foster the emoting of thoughts without fear of ridicule and castigation. I submit that from those classmates that could, would and did take the time to truly know each other arose the friends that bear throughout the test of time. Ah, friends. Not acquaintances. Not buddies. Not pals. But Friends. If I learned nothing else in school of any worth it was the value of friends. That's what I'll ask. ...Expand for more

Self Employed Petroleum Distribution and Delvery 14 years, man, 14 YEARS! Industrial Safety Training and Development 3 years Fulltime Fire Fighter 2003-......? Never, ever thought I'd ever be a civil servant, but if you can't beat 'em...... Military It was a short but illustrious career. Colonel Hessler and I were not amicable. I think I was not alone. Solid Company officers, NCO's and a collection of dedicated comrades. Burnt combat jackets and tinned bacon. Mess dinners that put Airbourne hazings to shame.
