Colita's Story

Life I didn't graduate from OHS I just left. Since leaving Ossining, I lived 3 years in Chicago and married Larry Parker in 1976. We moved to North Carolina in 1978, worked for GE Micro Electronics and attended Durham Technical Institute and received my associate’s degree in IC Manufacturing (Micro Electronics) in 1984. have worked in the High Tech industry for the past 20 years. Larry died of liver cancer in July of 2000. All the children are grown Jamal is 39, A'Zeree is 34, and Akila Larry's daughter is 26. I have 4 grand children. I have become very active in my walk with God and lead a Chemical Recovery Ministry in the church. I’m definitely doing better than I ever dreamed possible.
