Colleen's Story
Life
Hum....my life in a nutshell. OK, here it goes:
After I got done with H.S. and college, (and a short 2-month stint selling vacuum cleaners (LOL)), I began working at AT&T International. I really loved it. They paid for me to go back to school for my Master's degree, which took me 4 years at night (yuck) and I got to see the world. During this time, I lived in Budd Lake, Morristown, and Branchburg, NJ.
It was at AT&T International where I met my husband, who I eventually married in 1990. In 1993, we were transferred to Atlanta which is where we still currently reside. At one point, my husband was transferred to Saudi Arabia on a short-term assignment. During that time, I got a job offer in Manhattan, which was just too good to turn down....so I bought a condo in Basking Ridge, NJ and commuted into the city every day. On weekends, I would fly home to Atlanta so I could mow the lawn and pay the bills. It was a CRAZY time in my life.
It was the birth of my son in 1996 that brought sanity back to our crazy traveling lives. We sold the NJ condo and grounded ourselves career-wise in Atlanta. After a 9 month family leave from work when my son was born, I got a nanny and went back to work, where I stayed for the...Expand for more
next 10 years. These last 5 years at work were really tough. The company had changed dramatically from what it was 25 years ago, and it was no longer the fun, exciting place it used to be for me. The hours were long, stress was high, and weekends didn't exist.
In March of 2006, I left that work environment behind and am now living a very different kind of lifestyle. After years of living in this neighborhood, I'm finally getting to know my neighbors!! I've become very active in the neighborhood, at my son's school, and have even taken up the game of tennis (yes...at my age). We have many organized tennis leagues here in Atlanta and I'm taking advantage of all of them (what fun)!!
In June of 2007, I became an independent distributor of JuicePlus because I just love the product and believe that EVERYONE needs to know about this stuff. The education I am getting on health and nutrition is phenomenal and I love being my own boss. In Nov of 2008, I also received my Fitness Instructor/ Personal Trainer certification.
In short, I am having a blast and just loving life right now.
PLEASE take a moment to drop me an e-mail and reconnect with me. I would love to hear from you.!!!!
