Workplace
I am a lifetime non-profit worker starting out working for the Mayor's Office for Homeless and later, after getting the athletic bug myself, turned my focus to directing US and International athletic events for individuals who have received live-saving organ transplants. The US and World Transplant Games has over 8,000 participants and more than 42 sports events.
For the last two years, I have been working in a senior postion for the Women's Sports Foundation championing the cause for women's rights for equal opportunity in sports and working with women of all shapes, sizes and athletic abilities to promote the positive aspects of participat...Expand for more

Though I work with champion and elite athletes as part of my current position, I am still inspired by the everyday heroes I used to work on behalf of, by having been elected to serve on the international governing body of the World Transplant Games representing the United States,thus continuing to teach the world about the importance of organ donation and the positive outcome sports has on indivduals'well-being, on the international level. Both olympic athletes and more importantly, Transplant Games athletes, guide me across all my personal (running) finish lines on a daily basis.
I love what I do and couldn't imagine doing anything else.
