Colleen's Story
I worked full time, raised two great childern, and have two grandchildern. Second time around I have the greatest man any one would want. And I have a little shih Tzu, Tinker Bell that I love dearly.
My son Michael, married his wife Jen, who had three small childern and they had my grandson, Nicholaus, he will be 12 y/o in June of 2011. My daughter, Dawn has a little girl, Remie and she will be 4 y/o this Dec., 2010.
Richard came into my life when my childern where teenagers, hard time for him and my childern to except a man in the family after so many years, so we ended up living together......23+ years! We are thinking about the walk, even though we are in our 60's!!!
I looked great and felt great till I hit 57 and I fell apart. I had problems with my spine and had an operation, that failed, so now I just have unbearable pain, that all happened in 2005. In 2007 I came down with cancer, NHL and I was at stage three. It was tough!! I am doing good today with the cancer, I am in remission, two more years and I will be "cancer free". Last week we find that My c6 and c7 disc in my back is going bad, as well...Expand for more
as the neck area! It's caused by wear and tear, plus age.
A lot of you people, know my brother Jay, who passed in a motorcyle accident at age 40 and we lost his son, Jonthan at age 27. Both were so heartbreaking, my brother Jay and I where always close, not only brother and sister, but best friends.
I remember so many of you, it would be nice to hear from you. Take care and enjoy life. Note, I am on facebook.
Connie and Richard (Nov. 6, 1986)
I always wanted to be a hair dresser when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right, I did came a hair dresses.
I worked in Medford and Bordentown for years and also at home, during kids.
After my marriage fall apart, I did a lot of hard labor jobs (the pay was good, and I was able to buy a house). I then was doing adm. asst. in office for over 8 years ,and decided to go to MCCC and was, to my surprise carrying a 96.4 GPA, before I had to go out on medical leave. It was to show my childern that you never give up and if you want something bad enough, go for it. Happy to report, both of my childern has done that!
