Colleen's Story
Hi! Wow! A lot has happened since high school. I met and married my best friend/favorite person, Bill Bolton, on May 1,1982. We had our first child, Becki (who is to be married next year and has 2 kids, Kylie and Corbin), Jan.29,1983 and our second, Nathan (who is in the Marine Reserves, is in the process of a divorce and has one daughter Grace and 2 step sons Ben and Sam), Oct.30,1984. We servred in the church in many childrens areas. I was part of the Christian school and Bill was a printer at the time. This took us to Connecticut for 2 years to be on staff of a church there. We then moved to the state Bill was from, New York for 3 years then back to Iowa. Later Bill went to seminary and then we felt called to start a church in Lincoln, NE. d now at 5 she is a healthy and happy girl. Before going to Lincoln Bill worked as the routing supervisor for Martin Brothers Foods. So he was able to get a shuttle route driving between Onaha,NE and Cedar Falls, IA. During one of his routes on March 3,2008 he was killed after losing control and hitting an enbankment. I lost the greatest person I have ever known. But because we both know Jesus as savior he is in heaven and I will see him again. I have felt lead to move to Crystal Falls, MI. I'm a Yooper now! Live only about 450 miles from the Canadian border. It is beautiful here and I am settling in. I have a nice place with 3.21 acres. I enjoy 4-wheeling, kiaking (sp?) and being in the woods. I have learned over the years that life has its ups and downs, good or bad, but God is ALWAYS good, circumstances just aren't. I could not make it without him. Thank you for letting me share.
