Colleen's Story
Life
I have been married to the same man for nearly 36 years. He was not from Cedar Rapids, but from Anamosa.
We have lived in smaller communities around CR most all our married life with a short stint in Missouri, which is where our only son was born. He is 24, married and recently made us the proud grandparents of a little girl named Makenna Rae.
My husband has been an avid outdoorsman all his life, we have rasied bird dogs (English Setters and English Pointers)...Expand for more
and he trained for the public as well. He retired about 3 years ago (due to health issues) from his career as an Electrician. We continue to have a few bird dogs, and one cocker spaniel named "Joe Cocker" as a house dog.
I currently work as bookkeeper at a small law firm in Anamosa and we live in a Burg about 12 miles from there.
I am hoping to attend our 40th! (groan) class reunion - how about you?
