Colleen's Story
We're still here in AZ (though ventured to Georgia for five years). My husband of 28 years and I have three boys...and are almost empty nesters now!
I kept going to school (and going and going) for my music degree. I’ve taught strings, early childhood music, and Family Music classes (Music Together in the East Valley). I am fascinated by the positive impact music had on the youngest of children. The last several years brought me back into musical theatre, dance, and music composition. and meaningful stories for stage. I have a musical at the Herberger in January... lunchtime theatre, called Priority Seat and just had another on come out recently. Also look for my pop-folk album coming out in early 2020 called "I See You" (haha in 20/20).
My youngest son has also taken well to musical theatre stage.
I try to find time to renew myself through yoga, fitness, gardening, spiritual growth, and planning travel adventures (no matter how small). I hope you are all discovering new joys in life everyday... I’ve learned that life is full of endings that seem like dead-ends, but new abundant pathways are ever present. .
