Laurie's Story
I was really not into school very much. My best friend in high school was Sandi Madson Ronca. We were inseparable. We kept in touch for a few years after high school but after she got married she moved to Ocala and we lost touch. A couple of years ago she found me on facebook and now we are best friends again I missed her so much.
I went to college in 1985 for the unit clerks class and worked at Halifax hospital for 11 years. Then in 1998 I went back to school for a Medical Assistant. I worked doing that for a few years and then in 2008 I went back to college again for Medical transcription.
Right now I am not in the medical field at all. I worked in that field for over 20 years. I needed a change. I now do food demo's inside Sam's club.

grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
My hero was my dad. He passed away in 1997 and I miss him dearly.
I have learned patience from my son.
My best friend would tell you I'm crazy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as nice.
My oldest friend is Glenda Cocks. We met at a Bonanza restaurant where we worked. I started there when I was 16 years old. She is a great person and we hit it off right away. She was also my sisters roommate for awhile.
My first job was at Burger King, where I got paid minimum wage to same. What I remember most about it is we had to sing the burger king song.
When my best friend egged my car and toilet papered my whole front yard when my parents were out of town.
