Connie's Story
Life
After graduating from Gull Lake High School in 1999 I went to Western Michigan University. There I studied to be a Special Education Teacher, with a focus on Emotionally Impaired, Early Childhood, and Elementary Education. I graduated in April 2004 with a BS in Special Education.
I married my husband and best friend, Steve, two weeks after I graduated college. nd I had our beautiful baby girl, Catherine, at the end of June 2005.
I worked at KAA for two years before deciding to change my career path a bit and deciding I'd like to work in an early intervention setting. I am now working at Delton Kellogg Elementary School in Delton, MI as a K-4th grade Resource Room Teacher. While in my first year of teaching at Delton I found out I was expecting my second baby. In June 2007, I had my son, Steven.
I have been teaching for five years now and am loving it!
