LIife has been filled with ups and downs. I went back to college when I was a single parent. I went straight through from Bachelors to Masters and 44 semester hours past that with educational credits from UNI, University of Iowa, Drake, and Morningside Colleges. I have worked for 26 years as a licensed social worker. I currently work at an agency where I am the Clinical Director for getting in home services. I supervise the in home workers on an individual and group basis. I am going to be switching over to an in home agency soon where I will work with those who are like us and getting older and needing services in the home. I have my own private mental health practice and do mental health counseling in my office. My code is I see kids from 3 to 103. I enjoy doing private practice and that is my passion--helping people through life. As far as marriage, I have now been married 20 years and been with my partner for 26 years. We have many children--he had 4 children, I brought 2 to the marriage. They are now grown and have children of their own--we have 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.
