Connie's Story
Life
Currently living in northern California with my husband. I have 3 great kids. My son is a Paratrooper with 173rd Airborne and married to an Italian nurse. My oldest daughter is a hair-stylist raising 3 girls (10,8,&2) and my middle daughter is attending college in the Bay Area and happily married to a young man with a fun job in the video industry. My husband has 2 kids, as well. We are proud of them all and thoroughly enjoy their company and attending the events in their lives. through Cal State Hayward to help others with Drug, Alcohol and other addiction problems. This is a calling for me. I have 7 years sobriety. My husband and I enjoy camping, going to old car shows( we have a 1948 International panel truck that will be converted to a Paddy Wagon), remodeling, jazz music and just hanging out together. Alone, I enjoy reading, designing & creating and hanging with friends.
Considering that the Oakland-Berkeley 60's scene was a big part of my teen years, I consider myself fortunate to have pulled through. Like my sister, I too am greatful to have grown up in such a culturally diverse city.
