Connie's Story
Life
After careers in teaching, business, software development, and sales, I'm now a professional portrait photographer in Kalamazoo -- doing lots of seniors, families, glamour, maternity, and babies. My favorite activity is scuba diving -- especially off Cozumel. Daughters are Jennifer (an attorney in Ann Arbor) and Rebecca (an engineer for Lockheed Martin in AZ). I'm happily married for 7 yrs. to Blake who's very into hs athletics and active at local, regional and state levels. I now have ponds in the yard and two adorable grandsons (Parker age 2 and Evan age 6).

ls so I camped out with my tent. Dressed up (heels and everything) for appointments and could set up my tent and change clothes in 8 minutes! It was fun, depressing, and sometimes scary.
I fell in love with art while teaching but thought I'd be treading on my sister's territory as she's a professional artist. I actually asked her permission before studying art...then found that photography was much more gratifying then spending months on a painting.
My father died last month (February 2008) and my mother has had numerous strokes. While her spirits are high, she is less able to get around.
Someday I hope to move where there are still 4 seasons but with less ICE. I'm thinking Tennessee. Any of you down there?
