Connie's Story
Start typing your story here.Well, not too much to say. My husband and I have been traveling extensively siince I retired from UCLA ten years ago. Most recently we went on safari in Africa, then on to Southeast Asia and China . Gone for almost three months. We have been all over the world and feell privileged for the opportunity.
I worked at The university for over 30 years and was in charge of the campus executive recruitment when I left. UCLA is a beautiful campus and working there was great. I also worked at UCSB in the 60s after college.
Married for 35 years now, with one daughter and one cat. Life is good.

two years have been a challenge for all of us. Travel stopped, I grew out my L’Oréal color and now have grey/silver hair. Not too terrible. Social skills have atrophied and I don’t remember the last time I danced.
Sadly and suddenly I lost my wonderful husband last year after almost 43 years of marriage. The adjustment has been slow and difficult as part of me is gone. Fortunately Harry was not ill when he suffered a massive heart attack My daughter and I were in shock and adjusting has been difficult, like learning where the gas can be shut off and how the sprinkler system works. Anyway looking forward to a better New Year. Best to you all
