Connie's Story
While attending Tech HS, I dated Jon Groff, class of "52 who was on the wrestling team. He also played 1st chair trumpet in the band for all 3 years. We married and came to Arizona and have been here since then. We have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandkids. Jon worked as a design engineer in Civil engineering and I taught Elememtary school for 32 years while raising a family.We have now been married 55 years and counting. our time entertaining in Resorts by singing music from the swing era and up to the 60"s. We do some acting at the Community Playhouse and Jon golfs. I sang for many assemblies and parties at Tech and also with a small band of Pat Lagge's with Mike Davis. We have been singing in church choirs for many years.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Lea Ne Northup, because she married my brothers best friend and I have not heard from her since graduation..
