Connie's Story
Hi all! I quit school after finishing 11th grade but....I got my diploma and graduated with the second highest score (missed it by 1 point) ever- yeah, you read it right! The stoner got her head together, grew up - sorta- but don't tell my kids that~ got married had a family and has gone thru the usual ups and downs life throws at us but I'm a survivor of the best sort. Hubby and I have been married 29 years so far and looking forward to 29 plus more. I hated high school but decided it was important to finish- if for no other reason than to set an example to my future kids. I've got 3 fantastic grown adult kids- my oldest is a survivor too- my middle took me (us), on a thrill ride all the way to our states double A football title! Hence, my aol screen name: FANOFCHAMP. e agent- I totally love what I do, and my hubby is a self employed electrical contractor. I still come 'home' once in a while but I don't look for those I went to school with because y'all weren't really very nice to anyone that didn't fit your idea of 'cool'. I sure hope y'all changed and grew up because when I got into the 'real world', I found out I fit in quite nicely. I guess the problem was yours after all and not mine. I like who I am and looking back today, I wouldn't change a thing because I am who I have become because of all that I've experienced. Actually, I would change a few things if I could- I'd take back Gary Blanks accident that left him paralyzed and all our classmates that died from stupid accidents, I'd take that back for them too.
