Connie's Story

Hi, My name is still Connie Kaltenbach. I was only at WHS my senior year. I was already married to Chad at that time. We will celebrate 21 years this July! I graduated from LAVI in 1989 from the dental assisting program. My husband and I moved back west river. Since then, I have went back to school and got my bachelors in Elementary Education, have taught school and worked with Reading First and then I picked up my Master's and Specialist degrees in Administration at USD and am now the Superintendent for Oglala ...Expand for more
Lakota County Schools. Chad and I have three grown children. and 3 grandchildren. We live in Martin, SD... Where I started out. We live in the country on about 17 acres and have cats, dogs, cows, horses, and chickens. My husband is self-employed, Kaltenbach Well Service, and I commute about 20 miles a day. Some memories from my senior year... Racing through town finding clues at Heidi's party! Eating laffy taffys in Drama class. The pool hall and Little River City. Working at Stevensons and Morrey A. Graduation!
