Life
OHHHHHHH toooooo funny. I LOVE the hints: got a brand new chopper and leathers to go with it? RIGHT! I get airsick on a CURB!
After I left Eastglen and 2 years at the U of A, managed Fabrics & Wool departments for Sears. Must have done a HECK of a job - they no longer HAVE those items in their stores. I met my future husband - his sister managed Jewelry dept.)
After that I worked for AGT (now Telus) in Edmonton and Calgary. Then I worked for the Mental Health Association.
I was married in 1978, we have 4 boys. Dave is in Vancouver (sign language interpreter). Cam is an engineer like his dad (only he's software engineer). He's in Calgary now, but I'm afraid we'll lose him to America soon. Mike graduated (Marketing, Business) and is in Calgary with Xerox. Phil is still at the U of C (kinesiology, wants to be a doctor.) lia. My husband always wanted to work overseas and we lucked out and landed in Adelaide. WONDERFUL time there. I'd go back in a HEARTBEAT.
We also took in a daughter when she was 15. Deb graduated (business, education). She just got back from teaching in Korea and is now subbing for the public board. Of course our joy.
I now work as librarian for the Calgary Catholic School District. Absolutely love my job. I get to plaaaaaaaaaayyyyy all day and they PAY me for it.
My husband is in Pakistan right now. He's an engineer and has worked in the oil industry OMG for 27 years now. MY GOD time flies. He's worked in Egypt, Sudan. We love to travel, as does our Michael. Mike finished his last year in university in Sweden, so we got to visit him there. Mike taught English in Taiwan. He's visited most of Europe.
THHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT's all folks!
