Connie's Story

Life Been all over the place since 1981. Ardmore,Ok.,Arizona, New Mexico, Mississippi, Georgia, back to Oklahoma, currently in Texas. I have three daughters, ages 23, 19 and 9. Yes I said 6. I have been a member of the Elks Lodge , a member of a country & western dance group( dont laugh it was in the late 80s early 90s). Now Im a stay at home mom and love it. I currently live in a country club in a lake house. All the golfing I want(I dont golf, but my husband does). Life has been very good to me. Cant wait to live another 43. So it has been a few years since an update. Lets see... Still living in Texas, I'm now about to turn 45. And my kids have all got a few years older as well.(Duh). Went to my sister, Lisa's, 29th reunion in June. the block party at the pig shop was hotter than hades, but was fun. Not to many of our class there. Seen Jeff, Kelton, and Susan. Jeff said he tried to have a get together a couple of years back at his house, but not to many people showed up. They couldn't find everyone. Well Iknew where I was at and I didn't get an invite. LOL. The banquet the following night wasn't to much fun. But I sat by Toby Slack, who has more than able to tell me a few things about our classmates and what they are up to. Still see alot of missing names on this site. This summer has been long..... Had the whole family over the entire 4th of July weekend. Lots of swimming and plenty of beer. Have to have beer when there is that much family around. LOL. Glad we had plenty of room for all of them...Expand for more
and their friends. Been busy helping Cameron study for her first communion and conformation in the church. Finally got her all through with that. She looked like a little angel in her dress. In August my hubby and I are going to Houston to watch the Cardinals play the Astros.. Love those Cards. This is about as close as we can get to them and it is still about a 6 to 7 hour drive. But it is worth it. Until next time !!! So let's see... it is now almost May 09. Have been helping my sister, Lisa with her daughters wedding which was April 25th. We had been working on it since Nov. of last year. So I made alot of trips back and forth to Ardmore. The wedding and reception went of with out a hitch. Her husband and her are curently in Mexico in Cozmel. Hope thats how you spell it. Not much else going on in my neck of the woods. Just looking forward to summer. Hope to do alot of swimming and jet skiing this year. We always have alot of family here in the summer time. Winters are really boring. I am going to help my daughter Melynda remodel her kitchen some time this summer. She has been saving up for it and wants my input. So that should be interesting. Like I said not much happening my way. Just taking care of the family which is what I was born to do. Until next time... The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Johnny Morse, because I had such a big crush on him all the way back to the 6th grade. Would love to see what he looks like now and find out what he has been up to..
