Connie's Story
After high school, I attended the University of Oklahoma with my Air Force ROTC scholarship. I loved OU and love college football. After graduation, I was commissioned a second lieutenant and went off into the wild blue yonder.
Of course, I joined the Air Force to see the world, and right away they sent me to Biloxi, MS, and Grand Forks, ND. I got my MBA in Grand Forks at the University...Expand for more
of North Dakota. Then I spent 2 1/2 years in what was then West Berlin, West Germany. I served in support of Operation Desert Storm. My final tour took me to Cincinnati, to recruit for the ROTC program there. I met my husband two days after I moved in.
After starting our family, I went to law school. I opened my own law firm in 2005. In 2008, I was elected to the state legislature.
