Connie's Story
Married - daughter - divorced - married - son - widowed (in 1994)is the quick version of my personal life.
I went into the IT field at Blue Cross when I left Sweet Briar College. With my first husband I moved to St Louis in 1967, been here ever since. I worked for McDonnell Douglas for 5 years then moved on to Monsanto, retired in 2001.
So when I retired I looked around and OOPS! I was no one's: wife; mother; child; worker. No one expected anything of me. Who was I and what did I want to do now that it was my own decision? I am still discovering the answers and when I stop looking, learning and growing - bury me! I love to learn and I love to make friends and have some fun.
I work part time for H&R ...Expand for more
Block. I really enjoy helping people, sO it keeps me just busy enough and I enjoy feeling useful. I co-wrote an unpublished Fantasy novel and had so much fun doing it! I have a good relationship with my kids, but I live alone in my own Villa with my two small dogs. I am in the "Red Hat Ladies" and am an acress in a Renaissance Faire.
I LOVE to travel. Where have I been? WELL! Ireland Scotland, Norway and all around the Baltic including 2 days in St Petersburg; Thru the Panama Canal and down the West Coast of South America including Equador, Peru (side trip to Macchu Pichu) and CHile. Where do I want to go? Everywhere else!
Lee High was school 13 of 14 I attended - I was part of an an Air Force family.
