Connie's Story
My story starts at SMHS graduation. I began college at Texas State (SWT )at that time.) I was in the Strutters loving everything except practice. It took two years of loving that and bombing out in my major (speech therapy) for me to realize that was not my strong suit. I did meet my husband of 50 years there, Cliff Mitchell, from Luling, TX. He played football for SWT and was the quarterback. He was inducted into the Texas State Hall of Honor . However a Strutters friend of mine and I had bad hair days the same Monday, so we decided to move to Austin, Tx and work. We also partied when we got paid. To Be Continued

n Antonio I worked for the Federal Attorney General as a paralegal. We moved to EArly, TX and I was the Brownwood City Secretary-Tresurer. I served as President for the 53 counties of the City Secretary Big Country. I earned my State Of Texas and International Certifications and served on several committees for both.We have 2 children, now grown, a son and precious daughter in law. A beautiful daughter and her two beautiful daughters, ages 12 and 10. Both of our children graduated from Texas State. I raised the AKC Shih Tzu dog breed for about 12 years and sold them all over the US. I completed the Mitchell Ancestry back to 1410. Our son is the last of our MITCHELL Ancesterial Line.We moved to Kyle, TX in March, 2019, both retired and back close to home and our children. To be continued-
