Life
My Job
I am a Retired Town of Bethlehem, NY Police Detective. Now I work part time in the Customer Service Field as a Property Manager specializing in the Self Storage Industry. I enjoy my retirement and I love living in Southern California in Dana Point on the Pacific Ocean. I especially enjoy the weather. Sometimes it gets pretty hot, in the low 100's, but it sure beats the snow back in the Albany area. I only have one sibling left in NY, my sister Lucille (class of 1962) and her husband live in the Kingston, NY area. My brother Rich (class of 1964) and his family live here in San Jose, California. My younger sister Patty (class of 1974 ?)lives in Deltona, Florida and my younger brother Mike (class of 1973) and his wife live in Tampa, Florida. I get back to Albany every so often, but not enough. I love the the Capital District. I still have many friends that live there. Ma...Expand for more
ybe someday I will buy a home there and live there in the Summer and in California during the Winter months. On December 20, 2000, I was rushed to the hospital and stayed there till July, 2001. Eventually I had to have my right leg amputated below the knee. All due to Diabetes. I was diagnosed with Diabetes in 1997, and just did not take care of myself. I now get around with a prosthetic leg. Sometimes it is difficult, but things have gotten better. I had to learn to do alot of things over again, walking, driving, etc... I used to travel alot, but I had to cut back on the traveling because of the special needs as an amputee. I am enjoying my life, and as time goes by, things get better and better with my health each and every day. I keep in touch with several of my classmates via the internet or phone, and enjoy that alot. Catching up on old times is interesting and enjoyable.
