Connie's Story
Life
After leaving HBHS, I graduated from Bryman School in LA, with a certificate in Dental Assisting, played around in people's mouths 2 years, then went back to school at Glendale CC and Valley CC. In '86, I moved to Mass with my 2 oldest children, Jennifer and Jonathon, & lived in various parts of the state until '97, when, with my 3 kids (Heather arrived in '93), I moved to England for 3 years. Since then, I've been living in NH, working at a small town near Nashua as the Asst to the Assessor. I recently got remarried in March '02, & I acquired 4 more boys, so things are always jumping, & with 4 of the 5 boys having ADD, some days it really jumps.
Anyways, a few things about the schools I attended.
Westminster..the Thespian Club in '76. Anyone remember the last night of the fall play when we accidently put the stage scenery upside down?? *LOL*
Walnut...my best HS year, the track team, when us shotputters won the Gold at the "Olympics". You...Expand for more
still have yours? I do!! When we got out of a 15 mile run by having one of the teachers pick us up a mile into it & laying down in the back of his station wagon; having a wicked bad crush on Doug Porter (sorry, Doug!); dancing with Steve Green, having the nerve to ASK him in the first place; the football team getting in the finals and going to EVERY game, playing stare down with Mike in Comp, & winning most of the time.
La Mirada...trying to learn how to drive a stick shift in Chris' pickup truck (I still can't. *LOL*) & having that dang bird of yours get in my hair all the time...Jaime Somers. *L*
Huntington Beach...piling SO many people in Tammy's Pinto that the HBPD pulled us over; being the only person who knew how to pronounce "Oaxaca" in Spanish; Andy...one of these days I will tell you about that "moment" *L*; working at Carl's Jr (I miss those burgers); watching the surfers on the beach.
