Rob's Story
Life
Even though I only slid by in High school, I later redeemed myself by getting a BS degree in Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati and went to graduate school at the University of Minnesota. In 1968, prior to attending UC - I changed Universities from OSU to UC and I managed to lose my student deferment and I got drafted and off to Vietnam I went (not my choice). n the jungle, I returned to the University of Cincinnati and got my degree 3 years later.
I went to work for a SuperComputer company as a Network Architect and designed the worlds first Local Area Network to be used with a SuperComputer. I stayed in the Telecommunications field for about 25 years and have been working for myself as a consultant since 1989 in the field of Network Architecture.
I now even have a race car to drive if I get a little too stressed out or for just cruising around.
