Coray's Story
Life
How do I sum up ten years? In a nutshell:
1. In 1995 I headed off to Calvin College--a great environment and a great school. I graduated with a B.A. in English, a lot of debt, a lot of incredible friends, and a new worldview.
2.Steve (husband)and I decided to wait until after college graduation to fall in love; this enabled us to have a long-distance relationship for two years. We accrued a lot of hefty phone bills and frequent flyer miles. He went to grad school in North Carolina for his Masters in Statistics and I went to Chicago to work as a GED and Adult Literacy teacher. It was a crazy but formative time.

it. Steve and I were married in 2004. As of August of 2006, we are now living in Chicago.
4. My sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and niece all live in St. Louis. My brother and his wife, son, and daughter live in Grand Rapids. My parents live in Ohio, of all places.
Other things you might be interested in knowing (if you're high school friends):
--I'm not (not even a little bit) a republican anymore!
--I like beer and red wine.
--I love living in the city.
--I am passionately committed to social justice and believe the church is called to the same.
-- After St. Louis, Colorado is the closest thing to home.
