Corky's Story

Aloha All, After collage at ULB went into the ceramic tile bussiness, married no one you would know, moved to Northern Ca. built a multimillion dollar tile, realestate, contracting corp. Had 3 kids. Spent almost 20 yrs as a vol. fireman. Moved to Wa. devoloped a BBQ Salsa empire " Buffalo Head BBQ Salsa" Wife no longer wanted to be married, could'nt control me. Wrote 1 cookbook. left Wa. went back to LB> to help my Mom,changed carrers again. Moved to Portland went to culinary school, wrote cookbook 2, devoloped a cooking sho...Expand for more
w live, toured west coast and beyond, graduated #1 in school and was hired by the Westin Maui and they brought me here 6 yrs ago. wrote cookbook 3, now finishing my best one yet all about Maui espically Lahaina, a soap opera type town. Feel like I have had 3 carrers so living Maui style fits me perfect, Like a kid in Belmont Heights a block from the ocean here I am again in a kids dream. i guess some kids grow up but still have the kid in heart. Still trying to put some pics on this site, more later its beach time. Aloha
