Tonya's Story
Life
After moving out of my parents' house during my last year in high school, I began my life as an official partying college student. I went for two years and then 'took a break' from college to experience life. After floundering for life purpose, I found it!!! and decided to quit my job at Motorola and go back to school full-time. I finished my Bachelors' in Social Work. I have begun my love for traveling and have been to central Mexico, Hawaii, and England. I also went to Turkey to work at a disabled childrens' orphanage. s painting. I was never into art or painting, but I was introduced to it by a friend and found I loved it! Now I am completing my Master of Social Work at ASU.
College
Arizona State University. Once I got serious about school, i loved it. Before, I HATED it. The MU was my home for many hours as well as the library on campus. I also took advantage of the computing commons for hours on end. You'd think Social Work would have been an easier degree to obtain, but not so. Now I'm back at ASU to complete my Master of Social Work. Hopefully this will be it!
