Hello all, where do I start, I went to James Kew elementary school in Inglewood, Calif., I lived on Simms behind the Imperial movie theater, my father was a barber at the Imperial-Crenshaw shopping center and I hung out with Gayle Foster, Bonnie Wright and Penny Hess. We pass to Monroe Jr. H.S. Me and Gayle were always getting in trouble for rolling our skirts up short, on the weekends we went to the movies or to cruz the shopping center. In the middle of the 8th grade my family moved and I went to Yukon Jr. H.S. I lived on 135th Hawthorne, Calif. close to the school. Then passed to Leuzinger H.S. in Lawndale, Calif. I use to cruz A & W on Hawthorne Blvd. and hung out at the pier in Hermosa Beach. In my senior year 1969 we moved to Apple Valley, Calif. At Apple Valley HS I had trouble fitting in because the difference in the way the kids were, I was all city & they were all country.
