Went to Augie, Trinity and Aberdeen, Scotland. Taught high school math a year at Highland Park, IL, in between the last two. Met Fran at Trinity. I've been teaching New Testament studies here ever since. Written or edited 20 books (Shees!). Two grown daughters, one married and living in Canterbury, England, with her British husband; one, a biochem major at Rochester. My wife has been a nurse, a missions pastor and is now working on her doctorate in missiology.
