Life
Hi everybody... I ran a lumber yard for 10 years, and my own Gun & Surplus Shop for another 10. Quit the retail business and went back to school to study computers. After school I started working for EDS in Kokomo and moved to Indy in '97 as an Infrastructure Engineer. I've been single since 2003. Just me and a couple of Harleys... I live on the west side of Indianapolis.
update: retired Oct. 2012, temporarily living in Maggie Valley, NC
update: Nov. 2013 back in Indy after a great year in Maggie Valley.
UPDATE: May 2017... Sold the house in May. Got a new toyhauler Travel Trailer and Debbie and I are traveling full time.
Update: April 2020... Been on the road for 3 years. We've been through 28 States and pulled the trailer a total of 18, ...Expand for more
589 miles in that time. Even more miles on the truck and bike while site-seeing.
Update: April 2021... 4 years on the road! Last Summer in South Dakota (and the Sturgis rally), North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Spent the Winter in Arizona. Headed for Minnesota in June for the Summer and then a couple of months in Indiana this Fall. Headed back to Arizona for the Winter again. Still lovin' the nomad life.
Update: August 2022... over 5 years since we started this latest adventure. Still in Arizona. We are 8 miles North of the Mexican border in Southeast Arizona. We decided to stay for the summer this year to experience the High Desert weather. "It's a dry heat"...
Update: February 2024... 7 years on the road! Would not trade this experience for anything. We've been lots of places and have seen a great deal of this country. Home base is still in Arizona for now.
