Craig's Story
I attended Douglas High School, starting in the 6th grade because there was no room in the elementary school at Ellsworth AFB. I was there from 1966 to May 1969. In May 1969, when I finished 9th grade,
my Dad, who was in the Air Force, returned from Viet Nam, and we moved to Goldsboro,NC. I attended Eastern Wayne High School in the Fall semester 1969.
My Dad was transferred to Hurlburt Field in Ft Walton Beach Fl where I graduated from high school in 1972.
I met many friends in all three high schools I attended who were great and I wish our time was not so limited. I hope everyone is doing well.
After high school, I attended the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Broadcasting in 1976.

I clerked for Judge Douglass Shivers at the First District. Court of Appeal from 1979 to 1982 in Tallahassee, Florida. Judge Shivers was the best mentor in my life other than my Dad.
I left the court and went to work at Fuller & Johnson in Tallahassee, an insurance defense firm, where I made partner in 1985.
I got married to a lovely woman, who is also a lawyer and lobbyist, in 1994.
In 2000, I started my own law partnership with friends and we are celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2020. I am still trying cases in 2020.
I am very lucky. I enjoyed the high schools I attended. The teachers and coaches were enlightening and inspiring. I had fun and the friends I met were great. The only bad thing about high school for me was leaving my friends. I hope everyone is still having fun.
