Craig's Story
After HS did a bit of over seas stuff... came back to the Twin Cities and was an EMT/Paramedic in St. Paul, Mpls., and Marshall Minnesota... moved to Montana in 1989 and managed resorts for 20 years Livingston, Bozeman, Yellowstone, Glacier... managing partner at the Sport Bar and Grille, and Neptunes Brewery in Livingston... retired in 2012 and did my art work...collapsed from diabetic keto acidosis 5/12/2012, Doc said another 30 minutes or so and it would have been over, 5 days in intensive care and I am still recovering (about 90%)... in 2013 I moved to Indiana to help care for my 90 year old Dad, we nearly killed each other many times, but I learned so much about him and his life that it was a couple of the best years of my life...he passed at 130am Sept 11 2014... I had purchased a little cabin/farm in Heltonville (south of Indianapolis 60 miles) back in the "ho...Expand for more
llers" and the Moonshine Capital of Indiana, I raise rocks, (Geodes) which I sell and use in more of my art, Gnomes which just show up here and there, goats (coming in July), and Buff Geese...My kids are still in the Twin Cities, one in Stillwater (BOO) and one in the Daytons Bluff part of St. Paul...and my step boys are both in Montana... I also started a Box Turtle rescue, I find them mainly in the middle of the roads, pick them up and bring them to the farm (Spice Hill Farm) and release them in the marsh/grove...up to 11 now, they show up at feeding time around dusk at a big flat piece of Indiana Limestone... I have started fishing and sailing again afer a 10 year or so break... I have sailed in Seattle, Bahamas, Caribbean, Maine, and all of the Great Lakes... I guess I like it...right now I like sitting on a pontoon boat on Lake Monroe (2miles from the farm)...
