Craig's Story
Married for 37 years. Three children . Two grandkids. Lived in Bay Area for over 30 years. Moved to Scottsdale, AZ 2 1/2 years ago .
After high school went to University of Pittsburgh for three years in Civil Engineering. Stopped for four years to try pro golf. Realized it was just too tough for my talent. Met a Tahitian dancer and that was an interesting year or so. Went back to Pitt and graduated in International Relations and continued on to graduate school with emphasis on East Asian studies. Worked for Dept of Navy for a year. Went to Iran(Shah's time) for 3 1/...Expand for more
2 years with University of Esfahan and Bell Helicopter . Revolution necessitated evacuation with wife. Moved to California and worked with electronics firm for year. Got call from Bechtel to go to Saudi Arabia for five plus years. Came back and worked with base closures around Oakland. Eventually worked in non-profits in Oakland schools helping academics and getting kids to get in college. Enjoying 7-8 years of retirement. Travel extensively to Europe, Caribbean , and Maui every year. Have St Thomas, Maui, and Spain coming this year.
