Craig's Story
Life
I grew up in Oregon with a brief 2 year stay in Newport Washington. I attended Douglas High School in Winston Oregon. I was the typical high school student. I made the National Honor Society, lettered in Football, loved to wrestle, and was first Trumpet in the school band. I graduated as Salutatorian and proceeded to attend Oregon State University. After starting as a Physics student, moving into Nuclear Engineering and finally ending up with a degree in Electrical Engineering with Computer Science. I made the National Honor Society while attending OSU. My sophomore year I came down with type 1 diabetes. I got married to Jode my senior year (1972) and was lucky enough to get a job with the US Navy as an EE at the Naval Weapons Center in China Lake California. I spent 9.5 years at China Lake and went from an Electrical Engineer to a software programmer specializing in DEC operating systems. I had two children; a boy (Eric 1976) and a girl (Marhya 1978). ric is married and has my only grandchild (Liam) so far. I spent twelve years in Kent working for Boeing and moved to Aurora Colorado (1995) when the project I was working on moved. I spent eleven years in Aurora working for Boeing. I got a divorce in 2000. I earned a 1st degree black belt in ATA Taekwondo in 2004. I left Boeing and Aurora Colorado in 2005 to go to work for Agilysys in Nashua New Hampshire. I stayed in New Hampshire for 1 1/3 years and moved back to Colorado. I got married on December 13, 2006 to Barbara. I now have a step son (Anthony). In June 2008, Agilysys decided to perform a Reduction in Force and eliminated the division I was employed with. I found a job in October 2008 with TAC Worldwide on a temporary assignment in Oswego, NY performing OpenVMS System Administration for the Nine Mile Nuclear Power plant. July 2009 - I left Oswego to return home and take a job with CDI in Boulder, CO. My familiy and I left Colorado and CDI in February 2015 for Reno Nevada to join the Hamilton Company. I'm still a geek and love computers and science fiction (800 hardback SCIFI books).
